Do you live in a house or an apartment building?  Take our poll.

Thank you for visiting our blog.  We wanted to tell you a bit about our classroom community.  The students in our class come from Thailand, Japan, Korea, Israel, Norway, Bhutan, Italy, and Poland but we all first graders at the International School of Bangkok.  We go to English class every other day to get better at speaking, reading and writing in English.  Ms. DeYoung is our teacher and is from Boston in the United States.  She teaches two English classes, one class has seven students and the other class has ten students.   She also comes into our regular classrooms everyday to help us with our reading.  We are excited to read your comments and learn more about your school and where you live!

Here are the small moment stories that the students wrote in ESL class.  We worked on stretching out sounds to spell words the best we could, adding feeling words and details.  Some students even added dialogue to their stories.  ”Small moments” are a type of writing that students have been working on in their classes.  They are real stories about small moments in their lives.  You can record your comment after listening to their story.  Enjoy!
